Long grass
furry head long hand caress
some grass has a knuckle
slips out of stem when you pull it
fresh nutty moment gets chewed
hay has a dry scratchy rustle
prickly rolling down the hill
flattened long grass nest
our hideout lookout fort
the whole field
damp at the roots
